Executive coaching is a two-way street. To establish if I can help you, and to see if you are willing to be helped, we will use my 3-Step Process.
Step 1 - Are You Ready to Be Coached?
The only way I can be a successful executive coach is if you are willing to be coached. You need to be willing to invest in change and open to learning. These five simple questions will determine if you’re ready:
1. Are you ready to analyze your entire operation by taking an in-depth look at all business operations, including finances and marketing, as well as your company and personal history?
2. Are you open to talking about all aspects of your business – truthfully and accurately – even if it requires discussing past failures?
3. Are you ready to accept accountability and be willing to truly commit to getting better by actively participating in the review process and adhering to deadlines for data requests?
4. Are you willing to discuss how your personal life may factor into your management – including your physical and emotional fitness?
5. Are you ready to improve, even if it means doing something new or changing your current approach?
As an Executive Coach, I can only help you if you're willing to trust me and work with me. You must answer “Yes” to these questions if you truly want to improve. If you do, we’ll move on to Step 2.
Step 2 – Can We Deliver a Win-Win? (30-Minute Consultation)
Now we need to learn more about each other and establish if we have a synergistic relationship and can “play ball” together. We’ll set up a free, 30-minute phone consultation. We’ll discuss:
- What your expectations are for me
- What your 1, 5, and 10 year goals are for your business
- Why you feel you need executive coaching
- What I will need you to do to be successful and achieve tangible results
- How the logistics of the coaching relationship will work
We’ll find out if we’re on the same page, and if this can be a win-win situation for both of us. If it is, I’ll provide you with the details and pricing of the next stage of the process – the Scouting Report and the 2-Day Combine.
Step 3 – Scouting Report and 2-Day Combine
Are you familiar with the National Football League “Combine” that pro teams used to evaluate college talent? This is a two- to three-day event in which players are put through a combination of tests – physical, mental and skill-specific – to determine their potential value to an NFL team.
To determine if I can help, I’ll need to do the same with you.
Scouting Report: First, I’ll need you to create your own “Scouting Report” on your business. In this case, you’ll be doing the scouting for me – providing me with factual, in-depth information about your business and your operation. This will make the next part of Step 2 more efficient.
2-Day Combine: I’ll hold a one-on-one combine with you over a course of two days to not only establish your skills and psychological mindset, but also to determine if we have a synergistic relationship. I’ll visit you at your facility and we’ll get to know each other.
During the combine, I’ll be asking a lot of questions about your company and your people. I’ll get to know your culture and you as an owner and a leader. I’ll also be assessing your physical fitness, so I’ll need a no-holds barred look at your financials (we will both be signing a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement). This is the next step in establishing if there is true synergy between us, and if you’re committed to improving.
Based on this visit, I will deliver an Executive Summary of my observations, strategies for improvement, and a roadmap on how to achieve your goals. (More details, including pricing, will be provided if you’re interested in the 2-Day Combine.)
Step 4 – Creating the Game Plan
With the findings from the 2-Day Combine, I will next provide you with a customized proposal of executive coaching services – the Rock LaManna Executive Coaching Game Plan - specific to the strategies we’ve discussed. Instead of paying for some cookie-cutter executive coaching service, you’ll get strategies tailored to your situation.
You’ll note there is a good deal of work upfront to make sure we align synergistically. This is absolutely paramount to the success of my executive coaching services. Over 65% of mergers and acquisitions fail because there is a not a synergistic relationship between the two parties. We won’t make that mistake.
I like to keep things as simple and straight-forward as possible. Our goal is to win and win big. You can expect to grow, merge or exit your printing business profitably and with peace of mind!
If you’re ready to proceed, fill in the form below, and we’ll set up a free, 30-minute consultation to determine if this can be a win-win situation. Let's make it happen!
